Owner Debra
Bishop has always dreamed of living in the tropics among the
palms and the beautiful, clean, clear waters of the Pacific
Ocean. Although she grew up where the weather is usually warm, she loves the phenomenal sunsets produced by the Pacific coast,
and there are none better than those found in Nosara.
Co-Owner Daniel Juarez Correa (a local or "Tico") is the foundation of the entire resort. You see his handiwork throughout Paradise View Villas. He is in charge of the fishing and dolphin watching charters, maintenance, and most of all, keeping the customers more than satisfied with their stay so they will enjoy many happy return visits to Paradise View Villas. They both enjoy time with their children and teaching them what is of the utmost importance in life: God, and family and friends.
Debbie
Bishop is the work behind the scenes. You don't see her work
until you sit down to the table at the restaurant. She grew
up in the Southern United States, learning to cook Southern
fair, Tex Mex, Baja Cuisine, German, and Carribean food. Then
she was formally trained at The Culinary Institute, Marie
and Alain LeNôtre, in Houston, Texas and Southern France
under the instruction of Chef Patrick LeNôtre and Chef
Jacque Fox, both of whom are world renowned Chef's. She loves
to make other people happy and has decided that she would
now like to continue making people happy, in the beautiful
town of Nosara. She says; "Life is very different here
in Costa Rica, very pura vida (laid back), but I
would not want to cook anywhere else."
